Is $KPTKAS an investment?
No. It is a community token with a clear utility: rewarding real-world $KAS adoption. Crypto is volatile. Always do your own research. Read the full disclaimer for the long version.
Who controls the treasury?
The community. Currently a public multisig with transparent reporting and open input on Telegram. Full on-chain governance will arrive with Kaspa’s post-DAGKnight capabilities.
How long do reviews take?
Usually within 7 days. Reviews happen weekly. Approved Heroes are paid in $KPTKAS to the KRC-20 wallet address they provided. Approved merchants then appear in the community directory.
What counts as proof?
Clear transaction screenshot, on-chain tx link (kaspa.stream), or signed merchant confirmation. KasMap listing is required in every case.
Can I submit my own business?
Yes, but only if there are real customer transactions. Self-transfers or test payments do not qualify.
What if my submission is rejected?
You’ll be told why. Most rejections can be fixed and resubmitted.
How are reward amounts decided?
Based on business impact, proof quality, and longevity of acceptance. Guidelines will become more formal as governance matures.
Where can I see the merchants Heroes have already onboarded?
In the community merchant directory — the public, verifiable list of $KAS-accepting businesses powered by Kaptain Kaspa Heroes and listed on KasMap.
